Explore the garden and go on guided nature walks with a Master Gardener!
A St. Mary's County Master Gardener will take groups of kids with their parents into the garden and around the outside of the Library to observe and explore nature and our surroundings. We will learn about trees changing color, seeds sleeping in the ground and what they will grow into, pollinators and the lives that live in the garden. She will show and teach use of various tools and explain their importance for observation and education.
Infants to younger elementary children and their parents will be taken in groups to explore, there will be activities inside for those waiting.
