Support Wild Ones Chesapeake Bay this Giving Tuesday!
2024 was a busy year for Wild Ones Chesapeake Bay. To support our mission of native plants and natural landscapes thriving in every community, we accomplished the following:
16,500+ free native seedlings distributed
9000+ sq ft of native habitat supported
2000+ native plants grown from seed & distributed
100+ native trees rescued & rehomed
35 species of seeds contributed to 4 seed libraries
Hundreds of native plants planted in a variety of habitats
All of the above, plus we provided 6 bi-monthly garden chats, outreach tables at 24+ events that included 3 new display boards and 2 interactive games, 8 workshops and 17 presentations, field trips, garden tours, and so much more! We’ve created a large following on social media, expanded our email list, and participated in advocacy. Our 2024 Year in Review video provides a glimpse of the work done by our chapter volunteers.
